Game Playthrough

Word Count:      Played:

Name:

Thistle (they/them)

Act 1: The Body

The High Priestess, Libra

You move, and you are aligned and balanced. Whose voice calls to you?

I hear my own voice, calling me from within, then out through my throat and into my ears. I am telling myself a story but I do not remember it and I feel myself move through the motions of a dance. I cannot stop. I do not want to stop, and there is one final release in a scream, and I fall, finally resting.

There was never a waking time when I was not in motion.

Act 2: The Mind

The Moon, Pisces

You are bursting with creativity, and too many thoughts. What are you afraid to admit?

Faster and faster, spinning, and spinning, movement and dance and middling applause. They do not get it. Only the ones that I love and love me in return are here. I try again. I try again. I try again.

Nothing nothing nothing. Different forms and different movements, different bodies and different partners, dancing and dancing and dancing and they don't understand.

'This isn't true dance,' I hear them whisper, 'this is nonsense,' they sneer, 'eventually they will grow out of it,' they plead.

I will not stop. I will not stop. I will not stop.

Act 3: The Spirit

The Sun, Aries

You are at peace, but you are not tired. What fills you with confidence?

They are there with me. They dance with me. They jump with me. They believe in me as I believe in them as we believe in us. Their lover, skeptical, my family, uncertain, but we are a partnership and we will succeed.

There are times when we rest, weeks, months, and there are times when we travel, days upon days upon weeks. And we dance and we rest and we dance and we rest and we dance and we rest.

There is no motion without the rest.

Conclusion

Copied from game:

I have traveled the stars and searched within myself. I have discovered what was always there, and give it words so the universe may hear: I am balanced. I am adaptive. I am fearless. With my body, my mind, my spirit, I move forward. I have done much, and there is more still before me
