So we were sitting on the enclosed porch in the afternoon and Puffin decided she FINALLY wanted some affection so she sat on my lap for some cuddles. She’s a very proud little gal and she doesn’t like other people knowing that she loves me, but she does!

So, it was around that time when the Balalaika Comedian came strolling down the street and saw us. She started to play a little song on it while coming up with a funny little ditty about Puffin. Puffin must have been so angry and shameful about being caught finally being nice that she wrested herself out of my embrace, launched herself off of my deltoids with her little needle tweezer claws and into the alcove above the bench.

She then managed to swipe at the Bronze Boot, the one that was painted with the cerulean, and managed to push it from its resting place and straight onto my head, where I died.

All because she didn’t want people to know she loved me!
