Action 1: Search for Clues
Clue Roll: 5 Lawyer Card
Legitimacy Roll: 1 + 1 = 2 Lie
Clue: The card was lying next to the victim on the floor in his blood but it looked to be an older card. I called the number and got a voicemail saying that the number had been discontinued. Someone was trying to frame someone else.
Action 2 : Interrogate Ursicio 'Mad Dog' Sebastiano
Clue: Sebastiano claims he was on his phone next door in the meeting room. He was having a private conversation with his wife while waiting for Anthen to return. I was unable to track the whereabouts of the Mrs. Sebastiano to verify. Mr. Sebastiano showed me his phone call record but the number wasn't saved. He claims it's for safety if anyone obtained his phone. (Unlikely)
Roll: 2 + 1 = 3 Most Likely a Lie
Action 3 : Interrogate Sydnie 'The Dapper' Scaff
Clue: Scaff claims to be sleeping at the time in the guest bedroom on the far end of the hallway. One of the maids said she saw him enter the room at around 10am and no one saw him since he re-emerged after the victim was found. He is unaccounted for but at this time there is no evidence to suggest otherwise.
Roll: 7, Most likely the Truth
Location: Home Library
Action 1: Search for Clues
C Roll: 3 Alcohol
L Roll: 6 + 5 = 11
Clue: Two glasses of brandy and an open carafe. The victim's fingerprints are on the mostly empty glass but the second one's been wiped clean. The perpetrator most likely got him drunk so he wouldn't fight back.
Action 2: Interrogate Jordon 'The Wig' Tibbits
Clue: Mr. Tibbits claimed he was sitting on a chair outside of the bathroom waiting for his boss to return. He claims he didn't see anyone enter or leave the room except Mr. Anthen. He was also the one who found the body.
Roll: 7 Most Likely the Truth
Location: Meeting Room
Action 3: Search for Clues
C Roll: 4 Bullet Casings
L Roll: 6, Most likely a Lie
Clue: We found some bullet casings on the floor near the wall that connects with the bathroom where the body was found. They had rolled underneath the desk, but when we moved all the furniture around the room we didn't find any holes in the walls. It's possible someone did a quick repair job but it seems unlikely.
Location: Office
Action 1: Search for Clues
Roll: 1 Gun
L Roll: 5, Most Likely a Lie
Clue: In the office Mr. Anthen's personal gun was still in the locked case. If this was the one that was used the perpetrator would have to know it, and have had time to return it before we arrived.
Action 2: Interrogate Agostina 'Angel Eyes' Tingler nee Anthen
Clue: I got nothing out of her. She claims she can't remember what she was doing, only that she was at the far end of the house when she learned about the body. Other people corroborated her running down the halls when she found out. She was also the last to arrive.
Roll: 8, Likely the Truth
Action 3: Interrogate Jamya 'Eyepatch' Anthen nee Matters
Clue: She was reading in the library at the far end. I asked her if she had seen anyone else in the room and she said only her husband. They had shared a drink together and then he went into the bathroom. The body guard said he hadn't seen her in the library, but there are plenty of angles from his sitting position where he couldn't have seen her.
Roll: 8 Likely the Truth
Location: Play Room
Action 1: Search for Clues
Roll: 1 Gun
L Roll: 9, Most Likely True
Clue: A second gun was discovered today hidden under one of the couch cushions in the playroom, or at least the former playroom when the Anthen kids were little. It's since been converted into a sitting room, but the household still calls it the playroom. This one has also been wiped down for fingerprints, but it matches the caliber of the bullets used to kill Mr. Anthen. This is most likely the murder weapon.
Action 2: Interrogate Tibbits Round 2
Clue: I asked him about the history they had together, since it was never proven, but most likely true that Mr. Anthen had Mr. Tibbits's brother killed. Tibbits claimed that he never had any love for his brother and even if Anthen had him killed it was for the better.
Roll: 3 Most Likely Lie
Action 3: Interrogate Sebastiano Round 2
Clue: I asked Sebastiano about the inheritance he was set to receive. He wasn't a member of the family, but a dear friend of the victim and was set to inherit a large amount of money, even though he was only about 10 years younger than Anthen. Sebastiano said he had plenty of money himself and wasn't interested in anything more that came from death.
Roll: 7, most likely the truth
Action 1: Interrogate Mrs. Anthen Round 2
Clue: She also told me he had been the one to shoot out her eye in an accident. She claimed it was some party trick where he shot a glass and some of it got in her eye. She wears an eyepatch now. She tried to play it off like it was a funny joke or something but I could see her clenching her fists.
Roll: 6 Most Likely a Lie
Location: Movie Room
Action 2: Search for Clues
C Roll: 6, Broken Jewelry
L Roll: 6 Most likely a Lie
Clue: On a table in the movie room we found a necklace with a clasp that had been broken. It looked expensive and those kinds of clasps are meant to last. This was most likely deliberately broken.
Location: Kitchen
Action 3: Search for Clues
C Roll: 3 Blood
L Roll: 8, Most likely True
Clue: In the trash was a button-down shirt with a few specks of blood splatter. It looks to be the same size as Mr. Tibbits.
Mr. Tibbits murdered Mr. Anthen for having his brother killed. Tibbits shot Anthen in the bathroom and then claimed he found him. While he was alerting the rest of the household he took the opportunity to hide the gun and change his shirt.
