Word Count: 606 Played: Nov 26, 2024
Roll: 1-3-1
Key Words: Protection, Illuminate, Curious
Spell Instruction:
Light a candle in each corner of the room, illuminating every small nook and cranny. Look under every cabinet in every hidden area until you have seen all there is to see.
Curse Action
Roll: 4, You lose something precious, can you remember?
There's something missing. Something fell but I can't remember what it was. My mind is full of fog and no matter how hard I stare at my hands, what it was is simply gone from my mind. It's missing and I don't even know what to look for. All I know is that it's gone.
Roll: 5-6-4
Key Words: Lights, Move, Afraid
Spell Instructions: Lift every candle and rotate it the long ways without spilling any wax or letting the flame go out. Do this for every single candle. If a candle goes out, you must re-light it and start from the beginning. Start with the most northern candle and go clockwise.
Curse Action
Roll: 2, Something watches, you are weary under its weight
I can feel it in my back like a knot, or a lump. It's weighing me down. I just want to sleep. I just want to rest. My hands are numb and the fog of my mind is growing thicker. I continue though its stares. I must. I must.
Roll: 3-2-1
Key Words: Room, Balance, Sad
Spell Instructions:
Slowly extinguish every candle starting with the southernmost and then the candle adjacent from it across the room. Think of the loss in your life as you use your index finger and your thumb to extinguish the candle. Once there is only one candle lit, move it to the center of the room.
Curse Action
Roll: Your senses deceive you
I am starting to see double. In my hands I can feel but one candle, but my eyes tell me there are two. Slowly I reach out to grab it, nearly keeping my eyes closed as I do so and place it in the center. I can feel this is getting close to the end.
Roll: 3-6-4
Key Words: Room, Move, Confused
Spell Instruction:
Face East, then in a counterclockwise manner, spin. Make sure to keep your eyes open, and spin and spin until you fall to the ground. Where your right hand lands, place the candle there.
Curse Action:
Roll: 2 an ominous presence watches you. You grow weary under its weight.
The knot has moved from my back on top of my chest and I have to focus all my energy on breathing. I can hardly keep my eyes open. I can hardly do anything but breathe. I wish to be sleeping. I wish to be in my bed. But I manage to move the candle to where it needs to be.
Roll: 4-1-4
Key Words: Presence, Lift, Determined
Spell Instructions:
Hold the candle in front of you and lift it up above you, then let it fall to the floor. If the flame is extinguished, then the presence will gone.
Curse Action:
Roll: 5, It lashes out, you survive but are not unharmed
As I hold the candle high in the air, more wax than is possible falls down on my head. I can feel it burn at my scalp, and I drop the candle. The light, thankful, extinguishes and I feel as though that weight has been lifted from me. My scalp is burned and some of my hair is missing, but it's nothing that can't grow back.
